USAGE
Clean surfaces from dust, dirt, and oil stains. For best results, moisten dry surfaces by spraying with water. Protect adjacent surfaces with paper, plastic film, or another suitable material. If necessary, for outdoor use provide additional protection against weather conditions (rain, wind, etc.).
Shake the foam can thoroughly at least 20 times before use. Remove the cap. Hold the can upright with the valve facing up. Firmly screw the can onto the gun, holding the gun by the handle with one hand and screwing the can with the other. Make sure the gun is not pointed at people. Avoid screwing the can onto the gun with the valve facing down. Do not unscrew the gun from the can. During screwing, do not bend or turn the can upside down. The working position of the can after fixing – upside down. Foam output can be regulated with the gun trigger and adjustment screw.
Fill the joint about 65%, as the foam expands. For larger gaps, apply the foam in layers and moisten between layers for best results. After curing, cut off the excess foam.
---------------------------
TIPS
- Protect adjacent surfaces with paper, film, or another suitable material.
- Since construction materials are very diverse, we recommend performing a preliminary compatibility test.
- When working at low temperatures, the foam can must be preheated to room temperature (about 20 °C).
- During curing, if necessary, use additional protection against weather conditions (rain, wind, etc.).
- Use Penosil Foam Cleaner to clean tools and surfaces from uncured foam.
- Use Penosil Cleaning Wipes to clean hands and clothes from uncured foam.
- Penosil Foam Remover softens cured foam and makes it easier to remove.
- Air temperature during application: +5 °C to +40 °C.
LIMITATIONS
- Cured foam is sensitive to UV rays and must be covered.
- Do not use at temperatures below +5 °C.
- Foam does not adhere to polyethylene (PE), PTFE (Teflon®), or silicone surfaces.
- Do not cover foam before it is fully cured.
